Turku School of Economics, Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, the subject of the Information Systems Science invites applications for position of Senior Researcher until 31.8.2022. Positions start as soon as possible as agreed. A person selected will work as a part of Digital Economy and Society research group, see DES.
Senior Researcher will work in Artificial Intelligence Governance and Auditing (AIGA) project funded by Business Finland. The AIGA project focuses on researching and developing governance mechanisms and practices for artificial intelligence (AI) and the business emerging business ecosystem for AI governance in collaboration with industry and other research partners. A person selected for the position of Senior Researcher is required to have a doctoral degree and the ability for independent scientific research. We expect the selected person to have knowledge of the project’s theme. We appreciate a track record of publishing on topics relevant for the project, ability to take initiative, a responsible approach to work as well very good communication and interaction skills in English. Experience working in research projects and coordinating research as well as practical experience relevant for the theme of the project will be considered an advantage.
The salary for a Senior Researcher is in accordance with the University salary system for teaching and research personnel levels 5–6 where task specific salary component is between EUR 2 967,84–3 460,91 per month. In addition, a personal work performance component will be paid. The personal work performance component is 6%–50% of the task specific salary component.
Positions are subject to a six months trial period.
